Enrique Gil on Liza Soberano's performance in the film: "Hopie was so amazing."
Being a supportive boyfriend as always to Liza Soberano, Filipino actor Enrique Gil attended the premiere night of Lisa Frankenstein last February 6.
In an interview after the show, Enrique shared his reaction to the film and couldn't hide his amazement at Liza's performance.
"Hopie was so amazing. I mean she said she's funny but I wasn't expecting this funny. She's amazing, as you guys got to watch it," he said.
As he's happy for his girlfriend's Hollywood debut, Enrique insisted on being at the event to show his overflowing support to Liza.
“You know, I've always been supportive since Day 1. Sabi ko talaga, I'll always be supportive of her,” he said in another interview.
Enrique also added, "“This is her dream. You know, whatever she wants to be in her life, if it's her dream, I'm all for it.”
Recently, the actor addressed the rumors of his breakup with Liza Soberano in an interview with entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido.
He clarified they are still together with the answer, "Yeah, we're happy. We're just really busy."
The actor also said, "I think we just realized na, in life, parang we shouldn't always be centered around each other. We can do more, grow more, achieve more. And it just makes us better.”
As Liza marked another milestone with Lisa Frankenstein, Enrique is set for a new comedy era with his upcoming movie I Am Not a Big Bird.
