Showbiz columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis have recently shared on her Instagram account her thoughts on Zsa Zsa Padilla's absence from the Sunday musical variety show which she's been a part of for 20 years.
Lolit's lengthy post started off with empathy over Zsa Zsa's feeling of sadness: "I understand kung sakali at talagang na sad si Zsa Zsa Padilla nang mawala siya sa ASAP, Salve. Noon pa sinasabi ko na more than the money na kinikita mo sa programa kung saan ka kasali, isang bagay na nawala sa iyo iyon camaraderie at feeling family n'yo ng staff at mga kasama sa programa."

She further explained. "A part of you dies when your program is axed. A part of you feel so sad na hindi mo na makikita every week iyon tropa mo. Ang tagal bago mo ma-get over iyon feeling, kung minsan automatic akala mo nandiyan pa rin siya, umaandar pa rin at pinakamahirap ma get over iyon day kung kelan ito umeere dahil feeling mo on the air pa rin at deja vu ang paligid. 20 years is no joke, naging pattern na iyon sa schedule mo, naging common thing na sa ginagawa mo so siguro lakas ng will power mo para forget agad."
Lolit also emphasized that change is constant and inevitable. "Ang change lagi nangyayari, wala tayong magagawa. Gusto ng programa mag-reformat, ok. Gusto ng management baguhin ang look at casting, ok. Lahat iyan puwede mangyari, but it will always jolt your heart, it will always leave a pain, a question of 'Why?' Pero sabi nga, the show must go on, it won't stop because of you so accept mo lang iyon naganap.

In the end, Lolit commended the singer-actress and says Regine Velasquez cannot be blamed for the changes.
"Zsa Zsa is such a good singer and actress, she will always have another show, another concert, another teleserye. We cannot blame Regine Velasquez for the changes in ASAP, it was management decision. So be it. #lolitkulit #instatalk #71naako"
