Lolit Solis extends her sympathies to Christopher de Leon's bereaved family.
Lolit Solis joins Christopher de Leon and his family in mourning the death of veteran actress Lilia Dizon.
Lolit, who has spent decades in show business, paid tribute to the late actress via an Instagram post.
She wrote, “Namatay na naman is a [ang] sa icon ng pelikula Salve. Si Lilia Dizon na asawa ni Gil de Leon na mga magulang nina Christopher, Melissa at Pinky de Leon. Dati ay sa U.S. naka-stay ang mother nina Christopher pero nagbalik Pilipinas at dito na namatay. Isa [siya] sa pinakamahusay natin[g] artista na kasabayan nina Rosa Rosal, Lolita Rodriguez, at Delia Razon. Si Lilia Dizon ay kilalang kilala sa mga role na maldita nuon[g] araw. Very close ang kanyang mga anak sa kanilang ina, kaya natuwa sila nang dito na ito sa Pinas nag-stay.
“Nakikiramay kami sa pamilya na naiwan ng mahusay na actress, na sabi nga ni Sandy Andolong was the sweetest and kindest mother-in-law and grandmother of her kids. Adios, Ms Lilia, rest in peace.”
Lilia passed away yesterday, June 15 at the age of 92. She is survived by her children Christopher, Pinky, and Lara Melissa with her first husband, Gil, and by Toni and Corazon with her second husband, Antonio Abad.
