You may want to check out these "hidden" bars in BGC the next time you got out with friends. One of them can only be accessed through a convenience store.
It's Saturday night. You and your friends want to hang out at a nice place hidden in the concrete jungle of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City but you can't find the perfect bar. What would you do? You could go home and call it a night, or you can visit these five "hidden" treasures of BGC and have fun until the wee hours.
1. Bank Bar
Location: RCBC Savings Bank Corporate Center
If you just want to chill and enjoy a classy drink, visit Bank Bar at RCBC Savings Bank Corporate Center. Going to the bar maybe a maze, (CLUE: The entrance is INSIDE a convenience store!) but once you're inside, you can help yourself to great drinks and tasty bar chow in a nice ambience.
2. Hotel Bar
Location: Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila
When Los Angeles' most popular hotdog stand Pink's opened its doors to Filipinos in 2016 at Shangri-La at the Fort, it created buzz, mainly because it's the first outlet outside the United States. But many people don't know that there's a hidden jewel behind it, a bar!
Hotel Bar can be accessed through Pink's Hot Dogs, and customers can order snacks from the hotdog stand to go with their drinks.
3. i Darts DASH
Location: C3 Annex Building, 7th Avenue corner 30th St., Bonifacio High Street, Taguig
Want to experience drinking while playing darts? Go to i Darts DASH, the first electronic darts bar in the country. The bar can be accessed at the entrance of a clothing brand in Bonifacio High Street. The bar offers a new and fun way to spend your time after work, playing darts while drinking (the new beerpong?)
4. LIT Manila
Location: Serendra, Bonifacio Global City
LIT Manila is not as hidden as the bars mentioned above, but this is a place worth visiting. The bar is unique because they offer Japan's most excellent whiskeys. The whiskeys are so precious and rare, that once a bottle runs out, it will take time for it to be replenished.
5. Alegria Cozinha
Location: C3 Annex Building, 7th Avenue corner 30th St., Bonifacio High Street, Taguig
If you want to eat Latin American foods while having a drink or two, visit Alegria Conzinha Moderna & Sangria Bar in BGC. It is situated across i Darts DASH, so if you're the type who loves to bar-hop, heading to this side of BGC would be like hitting two birds with one stone.
