Because it is not that expensive to make, street vendors from South Korea began selling the treat like lollipops with simple designs such as star, umbrella, circle, and triangle stamped in the middle.
The challenge is to eat the honeycomb candy, without breaking the shape in the center.
At present, this candy is still sold in South Korea, but people all over the world who have watched the hit Netflix series Squid Game are talking about this sweet treat.
Big G Family Mart, a store in Malolos, Bulacan, is currently calling for participants to join their own version of the honeycomb challenge. The store also borrowed some rules from the hit series.
To play, here are the mechanics:
1. Customers will pick a shape to trace.

2. Shapes are randomly assigned based on what you get from the box.

3. Players are only allowed to use a needle or a stick to trace it.

4. The pressure is real because, during the game, someone who is wearing a hooded jumpsuit with a Squid Game-inspired mask will watch over you.
