Welcome back to GMA Network, Aiko Melendez!

Veteran actress Aiko Melendez returns to GMA Network via upcoming series titled Prima Donnas.

In an interview during the Prima Donnas story conference, Aiko talked about how she felt going back to her first network.

“It's great to be back here on GMA after a long, long, long, long time.

“So, I'm excited to work with these new actors,” Aiko said.

Aiko's last series in GMA was Basahang Ginto which aired in 2010.

Happy To be working again with @wendellramosofficial and Ms Chanda Romero, We never had the chance to work with each other. We were in one film pero di ko sya naka eksena finally working with her! Excited to be directed by @ginalajar I worked with her as an actress and we all know how good of an actress she is, So many learnings again for sure from her. ❤️ While Wendell and I have this certain chemistry tlaga but this time di na sya si Jaguar 😂 #primadonnas @gmapinoytv

In the interview, Aiko related to GMANetwork.com how she became part of Prima Donnas.

“They got in touch with my manager, which is Tito Boy Abunda, and then they gave me this offer and then I read the script, and then I love the script and I said 'I'm ready to work.'

“GMA was kind enough, sabi ko kasi, aalis ako punta akong U.S.

“Hihintayin daw nila ako kasi they really want me to be part of Prima Donnas.”

Joining Aiko in Prima Donnas are Jillian Ward, Althea Ablan, Sofia Pablo, Katrina Halili, Wendell Ramos, Chanda Romero, and Elijah Alejo.

The show will be directed by veteran actress and director Gina Alajar.
