On August 6, Pinoy netizens rejoiced that the popular augmented reality game made by Niantic and Nintendo called Pokémon Go is finally available in the Philippines.
People from all walks of life were immediately hooked to this latest smartphone game app which is a spin-off of the hit anime show, Pokémon.

Even Pambansang Bae Alden Richards was not immune from the global craze. Netizen @naughtynate29 shared a short video on Instagram yesterday, August 8 of Alden playing Pokémon Go.
