Bea Alonzo

Bea Alonzo is a beautiful haciendera in her recent pictures.

Bea Alonzo is taking time off from the big city to enjoy a relaxing stay in her farm.

"Stepped out of the city for a few days to go back to our farm," she wrote in her social media caption.

The Kapuso actress admitted it's been a while since she spent time on her farm.

She continued, "I forgot how I miss just being close to nature and being close to animals. Being able to appreciate these basic things that we usually forget about when we're in the city is the best thing; that's why I make sure to come home to my sanctuary every chance I get. The more I experience it, the more I am reminded to be kinder to our planet. I'm looking for ways to be more sustainable for our future. And I am proud to be part of the BPI family that cares and constantly evolves to be more sustainable."

Many netizens and celebrities left comments on Bea's post, including one from Anne Curtis saying, "As a haciendera!!!! I love it!!!!"

In 2011, Bea and her family acquired a 16-hectare land in Zambales, where different trees and farm animals are kept.

Bea called the farm Beati Firma, and it now has its own mini-chapel and gym, among other attractions.
