Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit TV adaptation director Laurice Guillen won big at the 2019 Aliw Awards held in Manila Hotel yesterday, December 17.

Direk Laurice won the Best Stage Director (Musical) for Magnificat. In case you didn't know, Magnificat is a modern religious musical play. It is one of the most restaged musicals in local theater history.
In a post on Instagram, Ina Feleo, Laurice's daughter and one of the stars of Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit, shared her mother's achievement.
"'Yung pinakahinahangaan ko kay mommy, kahit nananalo siya hindi siya humihinto," Ina wrote in the caption.
"Mapa-TV, film, at teatro. Ilang dekada na tuloy-tuloy pa rin.
"I'm so proud of you and I'm sure si daddy din sa langit.
"Idol talaga!"
Joining Ina in Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit are Nora Aunor, Mylene Dizon, Kyline Alcantara, and Zoren Legaspi.
Also part of the cast are Gabby Eigenmann, Isabel Rivas, and Divina Valencia.
