In her post, Kris pointed out that her youngest son Bimby looks very much like his highly-acclaimed lolo.

She said, “a friend sent this restored picture of my Dad & said: “hawig pala talaga sila ni Bimb.” I put a “sepia” effect on 2 of Bimb's recent pics & when i showed Bimb he pointed out what he saw, “mama, lolo & i have the same smile, same hair, and same chin.” I said “actually you have the same glow in your eyes.”

The celebrity TV host also took the opportunity to thank everyone who still believes and respects the memory of the late senator.

Kris posted, “35 years after his assassination: Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng mga Filipino na patuloy binibigyan ng respeto at pagmamahal ang sakripisyong inalay ni Ninoy Aquino para sa demokrasya ng ating mahal na bayan.”

These 2 pictures have deep significance for me- they were my dad's last senatorial campaign calendar photos before Martial Law was declared... even as a baby, i knew how to be “cute” for the camera. 💛 35 years after his assassination: Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng mga Filipino na patuloy binibigyan ng respeto at pagmamahal ang sakripisyong inalay ni Ninoy Aquino para sa demokrasya ng ating mahal na bayan. 🇵🇭

Ninoy was assassinated on August 21, 1983 right after his plane arrived at the Manila International Airport (now called Ninoy Aquino International Airport).
