Brad Pitt Enroot tea

Did you know that the beverage brand Enroot is a tribute to the Filipino grandmother of one of Brad Pitt's business partners?

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has dabbled in the beverage business.

Pitt, along with friends Cristina Patwa and John Fogelman, have launched their own line of cold brew teas under the brand name Enroot.

But what's even more interesting is that there's a Philippine touch into these healthy beverages as mentioned on the brand's statement posted on Pitt's website.

“Enroot today launched its much-anticipated line of small-batch, slowly cold-brewed, organic sparkling teas.

“The new beverages, consisting of five unique blends, pay homage to co-founder Cristina Patwa's grandmother and her legacy as a farmer and food entrepreneur in the Philippines.

“Birthed in partnership with the James Beard Foundation, Enroot beverages are sustainably sourced and flavorfully combine organic teas, fruits, and herbals to create a smooth, delicious tasting experience.”

It further added that the beverages are made using a "20-hour cold brew method that honors the rituals of brewing to deliver perfectly extracted flavors and wellness attributes.”

Calorie content is said to be 25 per bottle and the drinks are free from added sugar, sweetener, and comes with caffeine-free to half espresso options.

The flavors are Strawberry Lavender Rosemary Tulsi, Mango Tumeric Ginger Guyausa, Raspberry Mint White Peony Tea, Peach Hibiscus Jasmine Green Tea, and Apple Lemon Cayenne Yerba Mate.

The drinks can be purchased from the brand's website and selected grocery outlets in Southern California.

Pitt, 57, said that he, along with his partners, wanted to come up with a brand that boasts of good flavor and with a strong connection to “health and the Earth.”
