
Jin of the Korean supergroup BTS surprised ARMYs on Wednesday when he posted an update on Weverse.
In the post, the vocalist shared selfies and a full-body picture of him in his military uniform.

An article by Soompi reported that Jin attended the completion ceremony after five weeks of basic training at the recruit training center of the 5th Infantry Division.
Jin accompanied his post with an update, along with a short, but heartfelt message for ARMYs.
“I'm enjoyably spending my time here. I'm posting photos after receiving permission from the military,” Jin said in a translation posted by Soompi.
And to their fans, he wished, "ARMY, always be happy and take care.”
According to Soompi, Jin will “continue serving as an assistant instructor in the same battalion.”

Jin, whose real name is Kim Seokjin, enlisted in the military last December 13. He is the first member of BTS to carry out the mandatory military service.
Before enlisting, Jin released his first solo single, “The Astronaut,” which he co-wrote with Coldplay.
He performed the song for the first time at Coldplay's broadcast live concert in Argentina.
