Celebrity mommy and My Special Tatay star Candy Pangilinan's son Quentin is diagnosed with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Check out how the mom and son lead their daily lives.

In an interview with psychiatrist and My Special Tatay consultant Dra. Maria Bernadette M. Manalo, one of her recommendations to make people with intellectual disabilities feel accepted is to integrate them in the lives of their family and community.

Celebrity mommy and My Special Tatay star Candy Pangilinan is a shining example of that practice! Quentin, Candy's son who was diagnosed with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), leads a happy life with his mother.

Recently, the mother-and-son duo went on a trip to the grocery store. While there, Candy tasked her son with carrying the grocery bag and Quentin is ready to take the responsibility.

Candy and Quentin are also heavily involved in their church, Candy said that it is her son's favorite place.

For Quentin's physical activity, Candy enrolled him in a swimming class which, according to Candy, is good for his "motor skills, coordination, following instructions and to expel his energy."
