"All this time I thought they were still in Canada!!!" Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray cried when her parents surprised her at her homecoming event.

Reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray was surprised when she saw her parents during her homecoming concert last Sunday, February 24 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

In a post on Instagram, Catriona revealed that she didn't know that her parents flew back to the Philippines from Canada.

"So many magical moments at the #RaiseYourFlag concert but this one really made my night," she wrote.

"Guys, I had NO IDEA that my parents would be here, all this time I thought they were still in Canada!!!

"This was easily one of the best homecoming gifts.

"Now I get to be with my daddy tomorrow for his 74th birthday!"
