Reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray was surprised when she saw her parents during her homecoming concert last Sunday, February 24 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

In a post on Instagram, Catriona revealed that she didn't know that her parents flew back to the Philippines from Canada.

"So many magical moments at the #RaiseYourFlag concert but this one really made my night," she wrote.

"Guys, I had NO IDEA that my parents would be here, all this time I thought they were still in Canada!!!

"This was easily one of the best homecoming gifts.

"Now I get to be with my daddy tomorrow for his 74th birthday!"

So many magical moments at the #RaiseYourFlag concert but this one really made my night. Guys, I had NO IDEA that my parents would be here, all this time I thought they were still in Canada!!! When Tito Boy began to announce the "two most important people..."
