A lot of local personalities kept watch on the prestigious beauty pageant and they took to social media their thoughts and emotions especially that Philippines' bet Catriona Gray has won the coveted title and crown.
Aiai delas Alas took a video of Catriona's answer at the Top 5 Q&A portion as well as a video of her and her friends cheering on the Philippine candidate.
Joey de Leon was captured on video celebrating while Catriona was doing her first walk as 2018's Miss Universe.

Catriona is the fourth Pinay beauty queen to bring home Miss Universe crown after Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).
