After wrapping up the GMA Telebabad series Beautiful Justice, Cherie Gil flew to the Big Apple and spent some time with her son, Raphael.

On Instagram, the esteemed actress shared a mom and son selfie for her followers to see.

"First day out in NY. Taking a walk with @raphrogoff before he heads off to school @nyuniversity to do some food shopping @traderjoes," she wrote in the caption.

She even described the moment with the hashtag, "#suchamompost."

Raphael is the son of Cherie with ex-husband Rony Rogoff. He has an older sister named Bianca who recently received her college diploma at the prestigious New York University last year. He's currently taking up Global Liberal Studies Concentrating on Ethics, Politics, and Religion in the same school.

He's scheduled to graduate sometime this year.
