Clint Bondad to Catriona Gray: "This is certainly not what we both wanted, but most certainly what we both need at this point of our life."
Model-turned-actor Clint Bondad took to Instagram to air his side of the story, after Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray revealed in a recent TV interview that she is now single.
Clint uploaded a clip of his interview with News to Go host Howie Severino, which happened a few days after Catriona was crowned Miss Universe.
Howie told Clint, "Obviously you accept the fact that she doesn't belong to just you now or her family, she really belongs to the universe."
Clint responded, "Well she, first of all, belongs to herself."
He shared his thoughts and feelings about the whole issue on his Instagram, writing, "Man, here I am working so hard on my bad boy image... I stand by all I have ever said about you.
"You are still the most beautiful woman that I have ever met. I wish you the very best on your path, wherever it will carry you... Truly.
"This is certainly not what we both wanted, but most certainly what we both need at this point of our life."
He then closed his caption with a quote from singer-songwriter James Blunt.
"But we shared a moment that will last till the end."
Clint and Catriona were together for six years.
