Imaw has come a long way!

First introduced in the original series, Imaw was a cable puppet in Encantadia back in 2005. Now, the team has transformed the character to be the first fully animatronic puppet head in Philippine TV.

Director Mark Reyes shared the new Imaw's first photo in his Instagram.

"11 years ago, we had a traditional hand and cable puppet in Encantadia named Imaw. Now, 11 years after, the cables are gone and now replaced by radio controlled servos. He's now a fully animatronic head puppet worn by a performance artist," wrote Direk Mark.

Here's a closer look at Imaw with Marian Rivera as Ynang Reyna Minea and Rocco Nacino as Aquil.
