Filipino talent is beaming everywhere!
From both the local and the international scenes, Filipinos -- more particularly fashion designers -- are indeed making a name for themselves.
Which is why in the recently concluded Miss Universe Japan 2019 pageant, another local designer was given the spotlight to highlight the talent that is truly 100% Pinoy.
Meet, Joel Escober, a Filipino designer who made 13 to 15 beautiful creations for the Miss Universe Japan last August 22.
The Manila-based designer even dressed the night's winner Ako Kamo, who took home the crown in a sheer one-sleeve long gown number.
Aside from that, he also designed the gown of Miss Universe Japan 2008 and its current National Director Hiroko Mima.
Of course, Joel couldn't help but share the excitement on his Instagram.
He wrote, "It was really inspiring to see Filipino Creations appreciated in International Arena."
In 2018, Joel also designed for Miss Universe Japan Yuumi Kato in the international competition.
Ako Kama is set to compete against Philippine-bet Gazini Ganados in the 68th Miss Universe pageant on December 19, 2019.
