But being a self-proclaimed nature lover, Glaiza didn't let a moment pass that she didn't have a one-of-a-kind adventure.

On Instagram yesterday, May 28, the Kapuso actress shared her unforgettable summer adventure--reaching the summit of Mt. Batur in Bali, Indonesia.

As it turns out, the way to the top was no easy feat. It took her about two hours on the trail before reaching the peak of the mountain.

She wrote, “One of the most unforgettable experiences during my trip to Bali was trekking for two hours to reach the summit of Mt. Batur.

“Started at 3:45 am and finished around 6 am. It felt like we were in a horror film going up cause we were just depending on the flashlight and believe me, it wasn't that easy.”

Glaiza said that making it to the top was a difficult one but gladly thanked her “previous gym sessions in Uluwatu” that “definitely helped my resistance.”

Like all trials faced, the view at the apex definitely made up for the long trek.

She penned, “I felt strong and grateful not only because of our tour guide who was very endearing but grateful because of the gift of nature and how blessed we are that we have this.

“It is one of the places that make you respect nature more.”

One of the most unforgettable experiences during my trip to Bali was trekking for two hours to reach the summit of Mt. Batur. It was also a two hour drive from Canggu and just slept on the road to prepare myself for what's going to happen. Started at 3:45am and finished around 6am. It felt like we were in a horror film going up cause we were just depending on the flashlight and believe me, it wasn't that easy. Some people even paid additional IDR350, 000 to skip the long trek and bring them to base camp ( but we still walked another 15 minutes from there anyway ). I don't usually trek but I have to thank the previous gym sessions I had in Uluwatu cause that definitely helped my resistance. It was difficult but I remember what the coach said: I know it's hard, but that's the point. And so we reached the top and it was so rewarding. I felt strong and grateful not only because of our tour guide who was very endearing but grateful because of the gift of nature and how blessed we are that we have this. It is one of the places that makes you respect nature more. I was hesitant to travel Bali before because they say it's more of a party place ( knowing my tita self wouldn't enjoy it as much ) but it's definitely beyond that. I'm glad I decided to go and meet new people along the way. Btw, had cooking class after the trek and it was the best decision ever lol ( I'll leave it to the next post 🤣 ) I'm planning to go back again and share all of my experiences by making a customized itinerary for @galuratravel but for the mean time, if you're planning to have a trip in Bali, send us a DM or follow us on IG / Facebook. We're more than happy to assist ya! ** During breakfast, we were joined by this beautiful family and it was like watching Our Planet live. Thank you Bali, thank you universe, thank you God. 🙏
