Aside from the reports of destructive ash fall in some parts of Batangas province, there were also some cases of abandoned animal deaths in the province.

Hoping everyone stays safe during this time. Phivolcs has already raised Alert level 4 so please be sure to stay alert, aware, and updated. Sending prayers to those who are affected by this unfortunate situation. 🙏🏻 ⁣ ⁣ 📷: @happyandbusytravels

Forty three years after its previous major explosion, Taal volcano spewed massive cloud of ash that drifted across the Southern and Northern parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila and Batanes Group of Islands in the extreme north of the country.

As of writing, Taal Volcano remains at Alert Level 4 following its phreatic eruption on January 12.

Fall of large rock fragments in some parts of Batangas were also reported.

Be sure to stay alert, aware, and updated, mga Kapuso!
