Ram Silva, an Iloilo-based fashion designer, produced Money Heist-inspired protective suit for COVID-19 frontliners.

Ram provided hazmat suits he created to the Internal Medicine Department of the Western Visayas Medical Center. To uplift the spirits of the frontliners he dubbed as the “Covid Armies,” he even designed them after the iconic red jumpsuit popularized by the Netflix original crime-drama series.

The fashion designer also clarified that the Salvador Dali masks were only worn as props for a photo op.

Aside from these Money Heist-inspired suits, other designers have also created protective suits inspired by the Power Rangers, Teletubbies, and Star Wars.
