Ika-6 Na Utos star Sunshine Dizon turned a year older on Monday, July 3, and she celebrated her birthday with the people close to her heart.

Aside from her family and showbiz friends, Sunshine was also able to spend time with fellow actress Iza Calzado. The two worked together in the original versions of Impostora and Encantadia and have remained close over the years.

She wrote, "Before the day ends, I would like to greet my soul sister and partner in crime, Sunshine Dizon, a Happy Birthday! We have been through so much. From being childhood friends to losing touch then finding each other on set again years later. We did a lot of crazy things together, some we shall just take to the grave! Haha! We've been through the ups and downs of friendships but I'm glad we have reconnected and continue to find ways to stay in touch. You were my first acting coach, always generously sharing your energy on and off cam. We were always great together and the reason we worked so well together was that we were and will always be connected in the deepest parts of our hearts and souls. This is why we worked so well, we truly understood each other. I am so happy that you are in a good place now. You look great, you have amazing kids, a hit show (balut pa more! Hahaha!) and Tita Dot is by your side. I pray for the best for you because you deserve it. Love you, Ga. Kahit lagi akong delayed telecast, lagi naman sapul sa puso. Huwaw. Haha!"
