Iza shared on Instagram an old high school photo last August 11 to celebrate her 34th birthday.

Former Encantadia actress Iza Calzado has been very vocal of how hard it was for her to lose the extra pounds, when she was still young.

In fact, Iza posted last August 11 on Instagram an old high school photo to celebrate her 34th birthday.

According to the actress, she wanted to share this photo to remind herself of how far she has come in life and achieved her goal to live a healthy life.

Iza said in the caption, “Before the clock strikes 12 and i turn 34, I just want to post a throwback picture of my 3rd year high school class photo. Posting this to remind myself how far I've come in life, not just weight wise but also in other aspects of my life.”

The actress added that she is in a much better place right now and it’s all because of her strong faith that she was able to turn her life around. 

“Despite my ups and downs (in life and on the weighing scale!) I know that I am in a much better place now compared to this 15 year old girl in the photo. I thank God everyday for helping me turn my life around and for making my journey a very special one. ????????? P.S. To my classmates seen here, please don't kill me!”
