It was an ambition of mine to enter politics in my province but I knew that my passion was in tourism. Finally, i'm jumping in the political arena the best way I know after years of hard work! Will Jasmine be supportive of this newfound career of his boyfriend?

In a previous interview with GMANetwork, Jasmine said, “Parang feeling ko naman nasa family line nila 'yon. Huwag na nating itago na baka in the future he might have a role in it.

"If that's his calling, then, support. In the same way na yung calling ko is to act and I need to ask for his support din."

However, she admitted that she might need a little adjustment.

Jasmine said, “Kasi, ibang mundo 'yon. Iba ang chismis sa politics sa chismis sa showbiz, di ba? Wala na akong alam doon.

“I guess, it's because unfamiliar yung world for me kaya medyo may apprehension.

“But the apprehension comes from siguro wala nga akong alam sa mundo na 'yon.

“Kailangan niya na lang akong turuan tungkol sa mundo na 'yon.”
