I debated on posting this because it seems so shallow and empty compared to where my emotional state is right now, but... I am so glad I worked out my entire pregnancy! Tired mom plus not working out for 2 months plus not being able to prepare healthy meals, I feel fitter the day I was in labor and the week I just given birth! -- It's just not obvious but (8 weeks pp) I have more “curves, lumps and bumps” (⚖️😅) . . My postpartum pooch lasted a couple days then my stomach was back to flat and I feel like it looked more “ripped” then than it does now (thanks to muscle memory?). Actually, I currently weigh about the same as I did when I was pregnant!!😳 And if I'm honest, I'm not super pumped about it.🤔 -- One thing I didn't really expect is this whole new appreciation for my body. My body feels destroyed and insanely purpose filled at the same time!! I'm in awe watching it change, progress and serve this little tiny human...👶🏻🌹 I better be careful.. I can see how this process can get addicting for some women. 6 kids later, I want to like high five myself! Good job, way to go, you're doing great!😂😊 Was childbirth (and now postpartum) easy? Not at all!! I'm still healing from breast surgery due to mastitis. Unmedicated delivery seemed like a horrible decision a few times throughout labor and I'm still sore from natural birth. But pregnancy (and motherhood) is such a marvelous thing. It brings tears to my eyes processing all the things this body has been through.❤️❤️❤️ LOVING ON THIS SWEET VESSEL AND ADORING ITS CREATOR WITH ALL I AM RIGHT NOW.😊😊😊 -- (Disclaimer: I worked out my entire pregnancy. I did about 200 variety of squats a day and I ate healthy (with a few treats in there.)) (The last few weeks has been whatever food is available 😂🤷🏻‍♀️).

According to the former actress, her weight now is almost the same during her pregnancy but a huge transformation is visible. "One thing I didn't really expect is this whole new appreciation for my body. My body feels destroyed and insanely purpose filled at the same time!! I'm in awe watching it change, progress and serve this little tiny human," she added.

Jewel gave birth to her baby with husband Alister Kurzer last July 12. She underwent breast surgery due to mastitis, an inflammation of her mammary gland.

She ended her post by giving tips to other pregnant women on how to easily achieve their pre-pregnancy body back. "I worked out my entire pregnancy. I did about 200 variety of squats a day and I ate healthy with a few treats in there."
