Joey de Leon describes his late mom, Emma Ramos-De Leon, “INSTANT GUARDIAN at TEACHER.”
Joey De Leon managed to use his humor to cope with the loss of his mother, Emma Ramos-De Leon.
The Eat Bulaga host paid tribute to his late mother by posting a throwback photo of her carrying him as a child on his Instagram account.
Joey wrote in the caption, "Thank you Mama for my first home...your WOMBDOMINIUM! I LOVE YOU!"
The comedian, then, described his Mama Emma as his instant guardian and teacher.
"Wala pang Instagram at Twitter nung kinunan ang larawang ito ngunit meron na agad akong INSTANT GUARDIAN at TEACHER sa Mama ko, Emma Ramos de Leon!”
In a separate post, Joey also said, “Thank you again 'Ma! I LOVE YOU."
Joey's mother passed away last Sunday, February 10, at the age 93.

According to a report on PEP, Mrs. De Leon's wake is at the Faith Chapel in Arlington Memorial Chapels in Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.
