Former Kapuso child star Renz Valerio celebrated his 19th birthday yesterday, November 10.

The young talent has appeared in several iconic Kapuso shows like Mga Basang Sisiw, Niño, Futbolilits, and Pyra: Babaeng Apoy.

In his Instagram post, Renz took time to thank everyone who is dear to him.

Renz shared, “Also, I want to thank each and every person in my life, who I value more than precious [treasures]. Whether you're my friend, acquaintance, family, or mentor... Thank you. You continuously give me strength and inspiration to reinvent myself for the better. Thank you guys.”

And to celebrate his special day, the Kapuso cutie also uploaded his dance video on the image-sharing platform featuring the song “Beautiful.”

According to Renz, he immediately fell in love with the vibe and meaning of the song.

“The song is "Beautiful" by Miguel and Mariah Carey and the first time I heard it [was] two years ago. I immediately liked the vibe it was giving off. [It's] about people liking each other's company and actually appreciating the person for who he or she is.”

He adds, “The piece is something I want people to see as a reminder, that you are actually beautiful. We have our own strengths and weaknesses, and these are things we should be proud of, even the negative ones. Strengths, assets, weaknesses, and fears all combined makes you a person—a person made by God, making you the most beautiful person in your own way.”
