Michael V has a bright idea for a song, and he can only think of Gerphil Flores doing the performance. And so the Kapuso comedy genius tapped on the power of social media to reach and convince the Asia’s Got Talent finalist to grant his request.

Bitoy explained, “Don’t get me wrong, I loved “Never Enough” the first time I heard it sa Greatest Showman but I can’t help but think it would sound better if there was a slight operatic touch to its rendition after watching it for the 4th time (Jenny Lind was a Swedish opera singer after all).”

“I want to hear it so bad that I’m reaching out to Gerphil Flores to do her version of this already beautiful song. Help me out guys. Kulitin natin s’ya. @gerphil_geraldineflores,” he added.

Netizens rallied with Michael V and started tagging Gerphil in the comment section of his Instagram account.

Their appeal was heard and Gerphil agreed to do it.

She said, “Wow! Hi Sir Michael! I’m a fan! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this song. I’ll try and record my own version soon! Thank you!”

The Kapuso comedian felt thrilled to receive the positive feedback.
