For Leila Alcasid, Michelle will always be her Miss Universe.

Leila Alcasid posted a photo of her mom Michelle Van Eimeren in the 1994 Miss Universe pageant.

The latter represented Australia in the international competition where she placed in the Top 15.

Leila, Michelle’s daughter with Ogie Alcasid, sweetly captioned it, ”Always my Miss Universe, mama."

Though the marriage of Michelle and Ogie was annulled in 2007, the two consider each other as family.
