Miriam Quiambao announced on Instagram today, November 12, that she's expecting a baby boy with businessman husband Eduardo "Ardy" Roberto, Jr.

Based on the former beauty queen's post, they hold an intimate gender reveal party right after her ultrasound scanning last Saturday, November 10.

HE or SHE? What will it be? . We couldn't wait to know either! So we decided to hold an intimate gender reveal party soon after my ultrasound scan last Saturday. . My sister-in-law, @sharonroberto777 asked us to come in pink or blue depending on our gender guess. She asked to find the raw egg among the many eggs she prepared and to break it on our foreheads. Miriam shared that cracking eggs against their foreheads was her sister-in-law's idea. She said, "My sister-in-law, @sharonroberto777, asked us to come in pink or blue depending on our gender guess. She asked to find the raw egg among the many eggs she prepared and to break it on our foreheads."

The 43-year-old soon-to-be mom said that her pregnancy is an answered prayer because she and her husband have been trying to get pregnant for the past four years.

"Grateful to God for the gift of a healthy baby free from any congenital anomalies. What an answered prayer! Thanks as well to my MIL @corrie_roberto for preparing the pink and blue cupcakes and to the rest of the Robertos for joining us. What a fun reveal!" she shared.

On the last part of her post, she requests her followers to pray for her and her baby.

"Please keep baby and me in your prayers as I was found out to have persistent uterine contractions, a high level of amniotic fluids and was advised bed rest this whole week. Claiming for healing in Jesus' name!" she wrote.

Miriam and Ardy tied the knot in March 2014. Her marriage to Italian businessman Claudio Rondinelli ended in 2006; while Ardy was previously married to Margot Pelaez-Linsangan who died in 2012 because of lupus.

Ardy and his late wife have a son named Joshua.
