Led by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, the Miss Universe Organization has just revealed the new crown created by jewelry brand Mouawad in Atlanta, Georgia yesterday, December 5.

Dubbed as the “Power of Unity” crown, the jewelry brand said it was inspired by nature, strength, beauty, unity, and of course, femininity.

Crafted in 18-karat gold, the crown is said to have more than 1,770 diamonds including a spectacular centerpiece shield-cut golden canary diamond weighing about 62.83 carats.

The petals and leaves represent the 7 continents united as one in the goal of empowering one another to become a force for good.

The amount? A whopping $5 million.

Founded in Lebanon around 1890, Mouawad is the official crown sponsor of the Miss Universe organization and its sister companies Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.

The coronation night will be held on Sunday, December 8.
