Marc Pingris keeps his head high despite the ACL injury that would keep him away from basketball from six to eight months.

The Philippine sporting community is hoping for a fast recovery for Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) superstar Marc Pingris.

The veteran Magnolia Hotshots forward got injured last March 10 in their PBA Semifinal series against NLEX Road Warriros. Marc who earned the monicker “Pinoy Sakuragi” suffered an Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, a painful ligament tear that requires surgery, which would take six to eight months of recovery.

Val Sotto’s son, Wahoo took to Instagram to wish Marc a fast recovery as he is slated to undergo surgery this Wednesday, March 14.

Meanwhile, netizen Nick Ocampo shared on Instagram a photo of the PBA cager at the St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig City minutes before he goes to surgery.
