
Centerstage judge and Concert Queen Pops Fernandez reminded the public to stay safe and be mindful of their hygiene amid Novel Coronavirus outbreak.
On Friday, January 31, Pops shared a photo of her wearing a mask.
She wrote, “Starting my day... be safe everyone!!! Be ready with your mask, alcohol , wash your hands constantly.... thanks for my mask.”
On Thursday, Department of Health (DOH) has confirmed a positive case of the said virus in the country.
Later that day, World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global health emergency in the fight with Wuhan Corona Virus.
Scientists and health authorities around the world are racing to halt the spread of a deadly virus that emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December.
Meanwhile, following Pops's judging stint in American talent show The World's Best that was hosted by James Corden, she is set to screen extremely talented kids as one of the judges in GMA's newest talent singing competition for kids, Centerstage.
Also joining Pops as judges are Kapuso vocal powerhouse and West End singer Aicelle Santos, and renowned musical director Mel Villena.
Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards will be the “Kuya Host” of the show while Kapuso comedian Betong Sumaya will serve as the side stage host.
Centerstage will feature kids aged 12 and under who will try to outshine one another in order to take and defend their place on the center stage.
Centerstage will premiere on GMA Primetime on February 16.
