Megastar Sharon Cuneta was rushed to the hospital last night after experiencing major eye irritation at home.

On Instagram, the singer shared a photo of her with an eye patch covering the right eye.

“Majorly painful / painfully major eye irritation tonight.

“Had to be rushed to the Makati Med E.R. Buti walang scratch or foreign body. Nairritate lang dahil sa bahay when it was itchy and a bit sakit I scratched and washed it," Sharon told her Instagram followers.

She was also quick to joke about her eye patch to which she quipped, “Kulang na lang makasama ko si Johnny Depp. Sabay na kami mag-pirates sa Carribean.”
