Women who have a small and dainty build can sometimes be challenging to dress up but it doesn't mean it's impossible to give them the illusion of being taller than their real height.

Kapuso actress Kris Bernal teams up with celebrity stylist John Paul Dizon to help ladies with small body frame appear longer, taller with their choice of clothes.

Above the knee

When wearing a dress, John Paul recommends wearing above-the-knee skirts. Doing so will expose more of your skin, thus, making it look longer.

Slit

In instances where you have no choice but to wear a below-the-knee dress, John Paul suggests making sure that it has a slit. The reason behind this is, you guessed it right, to expose more skin which in effect gives off a vertical illusion.

John Paul also suggests wearing pointy pumps that have the same color tone as your skin for that complete look.

Monochromatic Co-ords

For that clean and continuous look, John Paul suggests wearing pieces of clothing with the same color. Or at least with the same shade or tint.

"Mahilig talaga ako sa monochromatic kasi feeling ko mas malinis siya at mas diretso 'yung look," he tells.

High Waist bottoms

If your legs are not proportionate to your torso, John Paul says wearing high-waist pants is the key to make you look taller.

High-waist skirts and shorts are okay, but wearing floor-length pants makes your feet appear close to the ground when the truth is you are wearing heels.

High cut bikinis

When choosing a bikini, whether it is one-piece or two-piece, John Paul suggests high cut bikini bottom.

According to him, wearing a high cut bikini will expose much of your skin and in return, make your legs look longer.
