Take a look at some of the scenes in Balayan, Batangas after the Taal Volcano eruption as documented 'Unang Hirit' host Suzi Abrera.
Suzi Abrera was among the Kapuso journalists and broadcasters sent to Balayan, Batangas by Unang Hirit to cover the aftermath of the Taal Volcano Eruption.
On Instagram, Suzi shared some of the photos she took in Balayan to share what she witnessed in her coverage.
"A view of the Taal volcano on our drive back from @unanghirit 's coverage at an evacuation center in Balayan, Batangas. Balayan was a good town for evac centers because the ash fall there wasn't as bad as in the neighboring towns."
She also wrote a little prayer hoping for the situation to get better.
"Praying the volcano will quiet down soon so that our kababayans can go back to their homes. Where, actually, a lot of clean up work awaits them. And yet I bet there's no place they would rather be."
