In an exclusive interview with Butch Francisco of Startalk TX last March 16, Louise delos Reyes taerfully admitted that she and boyfriend of almost 2 years, Enzo Pineda are no longer together.
 

The Mundo Mo’y Akin leading lady looked back at how she and Enzo started out. According to her, “Nag-umpisa siya nung nasa Alakdana ako. Meron akong tinweet, tapos nag re-tweet with comment siya. Parang naging twitter friends kami, tapos he asked my number and nag-start na ‘yung conversation namin. Nagtetext siya, dumadalaw sa taping, and then eventually, nagkapalagayan ng loob.”

 

Louise stated that she and Enzo became a couple on May 16, 2011. She added, “Hindi lang siya basta boyfriend. Ano ko din siya, daddy ko, kuya and best friend, best buddy, kasi ang dami naming napapag-usapan. As in non-stop. Kahit hindi ‘yung mga sweet messages, hindi lang ‘yun eh. More on parang tinutulungan namin ‘yung isa’t isa to grow.”

 

When asked whether she and Enzo have ended their relationship, the teary-eyed Louise said, “Ang hirap magsalita.” Then she broke down and nodded, confirming the break-up. She also made it clear that there was no third party involved.

 

As to what caused the break-up, she had this to say, “Minsan, ako ‘yung mas mataas [emotionally]. Siya naman ‘yung subtle lang. Nagmi-meet kami halfway palagi. Hindi ‘yung kapag nag-burst anko, magbu-burst din siya.” However, lately, they have both been emotional, causing a rift between them.

 

They have been having disagreements for the past month, and Louise said that they ended their relationship exactly two weeks ago, and that it was a mutual decision.

 

Louise describes the experience as “Super painful, siyempre kasi parang hindi lang ako nawalan ng isang boyfriend, nawalan din ako ng best friend.”

 

She said that she will certainly miss Enzo’s sweetness. “…kasi siya ‘yung tipo ng tao na super sweet. More than anyone, he understands me,” explains Louise.

 

When asked whether there was any hope for Louise and Enzo to patch things up, Louise expressed this statement: “I’m not closing any doors. Open po ako sa idea na magkakaayos pa kami, pero sa ngayon, siguro po, mas okay nang ganito.”

 

Since they are both starting new projects, with Louise topbilling the GMA Telebabad series, Mundo Mo’y Akin and Enzo taking on a leading role in the upcoming Afternoon Prime series, Kakambal ni Eliana, Louise believes that they should prioritize their career. She explains, “At least, ngayon, makakapagfocus kami sa mga bagay na sa tingin naming, mas importante sa amin ngayon, like our work. Katulad ng sinasabi nila, kailangan mo munang ibigay ‘yung pagmamahal sa sarili mo para maibigay mo ‘yung buong pagmamahal mo sa partner mo.”  -Text by Samantha Portillo, GMANetwork.com
