On the tenth week of 'Love in the Moonlight,' Crown Prince Lee Yeong is on the brink of death.
As the successful historical Korean drama comes close to its finale, Crown Prince Lee Yeong gets poisoned in his attempts to make the palace a better place.
At the palace, Crown Prince Lee Yeong successfully keeps the traitor who attacked the palace alive and brings him to the King. Lee Yeong asks him to point out the councilmen who betrayed them. Shocked to find out the truth that his councilmen are the reason behind the attack, the King demands they be seized and locked up.
Outside the palace, Crown Prince Lee Yeong and Byung-yeon meet again after the latter betrayed the other. He apologizes to the Crown Prince who easily forgave him and understood his stance. The two make amends and promise to become better friends with each other.
Hong Ra-on rushes to the palace with his grandfather soon as she finds out the Crown Prince got poisoned. A worried Ra-on takes care of Lee Yeong all throughout and never left his side. Will he be able to wake up and survive?
Ra-on continues to take care of the Crown Prince who is slowly recovering. While she fixes him up, Lee Yeong wakes up and is gleeful to finally see Ra-on again. He asks her to stay until he is fully recovered and ready to lead again, will Ra-on stay by then?
