During the fifth week of 'Love in the Moonlight,' Hong Ra-on gets reunited with her long-lost mother.
As the successful historical Korean drama continues, Hong Ra-on finds her home and gets reunited with the people she loves most.
Strolling inside the palace, Hong Ra-on comes across Crown Prince Lee Yeong's trusted advisor which is revealed to be her grandfather. After being separated for years, the two share a warm embrace and Ra-on shares how she and her mother got separated before. Meanwhile, they are spotted by the Crown Prince who got surprised by their connection.
Lee Yeong makes a grand gesture for Hong Ra-on and helps her reunite with her mother. After finding out who Ra-on's mother is, the Crown Prince immediately sets up an arrangement for them to meet. Because of his profound love for Ra-on, he went beyond high above expectations and makes the impossible possible. Without any clue as to her mother's state, Ra-on cries and embraces her mother tight.
Crown Prince Lee Yeong takes a moment to spend time with Hong Ra-on and walks with her under the rain. Basking themselves in the moment, Lee Yeong convinces Ra-on that anything is possible. Will their love for each other remain despite the complicated circumstances?
