As the successful historical drama continues, Hong Ra-on learns the real reason why she was forced to dress up as a boy ever since she was young.

Hong Ra-on's mother reveals that her father is the leader of the rebels who challenged the palace's existence. In order to protect Ra-on and remove all associations between her and her father, Ra-on's mother dressed her as a boy. Ra-on apologizes for resenting her because of this and promises to leave the palace for her.

Meanwhile, in the palace, Crown Prince Lee Yeong handles all the commotion regarding the invasion. He discovers that one of the men who invaded them got away and could possibly be a person from the palace. He orders all the guards to seek the missing person's existence so he can prove that one of his councilmen is behind this abrupt visit.

Ra-on spends her last night in the palace with Crown Prince Lee Yeong who has no idea of her plans of leaving. As she stares into his eyes and wonders if he'll remember her as the Ra-on who loved him and not the daughter of the rebel, she leans in to give Lee Yeong a sweet kiss.

As Ra-on attempts to leave the palace and face strict guards, Kim Yoon-sung comes to her aid and helps her smoothly get out. Meanwhile, Crown Prince Lee Yeong notices Ra-on's absence and saw the bracelet he gave to her on top of his eunuch clothes. He realizes that Ra-on finally left him.

Eunuch Jang experiences the wrath of Crown Prince Lee Yeong who turned ice cold because of Ra-on's unexpected departure. A broken-hearted Lee Yeong made Eunuch Jang do difficult tasks to cope with the sadness he is feeling. Confused about Ra-on's departure, will Lee Yeong be able to survive?
