Calling all K-drama fans and enthusiasts! Online streaming platform TVING is bringing a new Korean variety show featuring the casts of the hit drama series Love in the Moonlight, Itaewon Class, and The Sound of Magic.
Titled Youth MT, the program is said to showcase the reunions of the cast members of the respective dramas and, at the same time, meet other actors and build rapport with them.
With “MT” referring to “membership training,” expect the Korean actors to interact and bond with each other through various games and activities.
The 15 cast members featured on the show's tropical poster consist of Love in the Moonlight actors Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jung Jin-young, and Chae Soo-bin; Itaewon Class' Park Seo-joon, Ahn Bo-hyun, Kwon Nara, Ryu Kyung-soon, and Lee Joo-young; and The Sound of Magic members Ji Chang-wook, Choi Sung-eun, Hwang In-yeop, Ji Hye-won, and Kim Bo-yoon.
According to Soompi, the program's production team said, “It will be fun to watch how the actors, who were worried about their shyness, become closer from their first time meeting until the last day of the MT. We will do our best to portray the actors' bright energy, so please show lots of interest and anticipation.”
Youth MT is produced by producing director (PD) Kim Sung-yoon who also produced K-dramas Love in the Moonlight, Itaewon Class, and The Sound of Magic. The variety show will premiere on September 9 via TVING.
