With the lockdown that happened last March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, taping schedules for a lot of Kapuso shows were put to an abrupt halt like the highly-rated Kapuso drama series Love Of My Life.

Last December 28, the series made its return to GMA Telebabad starting with the show's pilot episode.

This coming January 18, 2021, get ready to see fresh episodes of Love Of My Life!

The story will pick up right after Stefano's (Tom Rodriguez) passing as the family learns to move forward following his death.

It will also show how Isabella (Coney Reyes) and Nikolai (Mikael Daez) plan to mend their relationship as mother and son after previous mistakes from both sides caused nigh-irreparable damage to their family's bond.

Lastly, we will also get to see the conclusion of the budding love triangle between Nikolai, Adele (Carla Abellana), and Kelly (Rhian Ramos).

The cast of Love Of My Life went on their lock-in taping last November of 2020 to finish their show's well-praised story.

In an interview with two of the show's lead stars, Carla Abellana and Mikael Daez, the actors recalled their experience inside their new normal set.

According to Carla, "At lock-in taping, it was a little bit difficult to adjust into character. I don't know why siguro effect na rin ng pandemic, I honestly don't know why.

"But just to share, on our first taping day, I had to cry in a particular scene as the camera would dolly in, papatak ang luha sa left na mata.

"I was able to do that during the pilot week, I am normally able to do that but for that particular first taping day, hindi ko nagawa.

"Sabi ko, 'Ano ba? Bakit ba? Hindi ba ako malungkot? I did everything pero hindi ako makaiyak.'

"It was the first time I experienced anything like that. Whether with preparation or no preparation, I'm still able to cry but for that particular time, hindi ko siya nagawa which kinda pressured me.

"Getting back into character took like a taping day or two but everything else naman flowed freely and good."

As opposed to Carla, Mikael had quite an easier time getting back into the character of Nikolai despite months of acting hiatus.

"I got to know Nikolai very well at the very start and hindi ko siya nakalimutan because I enjoyed working with that character.

"I enjoyed working with the cast, with Carla, Rhian (Ramos), Direk Don (Michael Perez), and the whole crew.

"For me, remembering the character wasn't as difficult especially because we had six to seven weeks of script to read. So after reading, that's at least two hours per script at the very least. So by the time you start taping, you're very much reacquainted with the character and everybody else as well," he said.
