
Children of 'The King of Philippine Movies' Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ) Lovi Poe, Grace Poe, and Ron Poe took a moment to remember their beloved father on his 21st death anniversary on Sunday, December 14.
On her Instagram Story, Lovi honored the legacy of her dad by sharing a video by FPJ Productions, Inc., showing clips from the screen icon's notable films.
The actress wrote, "Forever in our hearts. We love you, Papa!"
Grace, on the other hand, attended a mass and led a prayer service at the tomb of her late father at the Manila North Cemetery where she also met with his supporters, as seen in her latest Instagram post.
The former senator said in the caption, "Mahigit dalawang dekada ng pag-alala sa legasiya na iniwan mo sa mamamayang Pilipino.
"Patuloy kang ehemplo ng kabutihan at pagiging matulungin sa kapwa. 'Di ka namin nalilimutan. #DaKingFPJ"
Meanwhile, son of FPJ, DJ Ron, released a special tee edition, featuring the legendary action star's movie, Isang Bala Ka Lang.
Ron stated in an Instagram post, "Remembering the Legacy of my Father, I'm releasing a special edition Tee, “HOY DJ, ISANG REQUEST KA LANG!”
"Got the line from his movie “Isang Bala Ka Lang! Since I'm a DJ and madami nag rerequest ng mga songs, I made a Special Edition Meme Shirt. Super limited and super konti lang sya and will not make this exact same print anymore."
The 'Legacy' limited edition tee comes in a set which also includes a mug, pomade, bag tag, and stickers.
FPJ's legacy continues to live on as his restored classics are featured in a special programming of GMA titled FPJ sa GMA, showcasing a curated selection of the greatest box-office hits of 'The King of Philippine Movies.'
The return of FPJ SA GMA is made possible through the historic partnership of GMA and FPJ Productions, Inc., the studio which revives the old films of FPJ from their archives.
The show aims to bring Da King's legendary films back to television, rekindling the magic of his cinematic masterpieces. It also serves as a memorable and nostalgic experience for both longtime fans and younger audiences who may be discovering the works of the National Artist For Film, who starred in hundreds of films, for the first time.
