The curtains are about to close for the Kapuso rom-com series, Owe My Love, and Lovi Poe, Benjamin Alves and Winwyn Marquez guarantee that viewers must keep their eyes glued to their TV screens until they take their final bow.

Owe My Love premiered worldwide on February 15 and it instantly won the hearts of audiences. Kara David, who became one of the show's avid fans, credits the success of the series to its relevant storyline as well as the impeccable performances of its actors.

Lovi, Benjamin, and Winwyn see the unwavering support of their audience and they couldn't be more thankful.

Lovi said, “We're very grateful sa lahat ng tao na sumuporta, sumubaybay from the beginning towards the end. And of course, nakaka-flatter naman, si Ms. Kara David pa. Super nakaka-flatter. I mean it's really nice and of course, it makes us feel very happy na everyone worked really hard on set, from actors, staff, crew, the whole production. So just hearing good words is talagang something that makes us feel more inspired. And hopefully someday, we get to work together again soon.”

Benjamin recognized the production team behind the show for creating a good story and for giving them the opportunity.

He said, “Nakakatuwa po na we're able to showcase a different side of us, Winwyn, Lovi and I. I've worked with them multiple times. I was never able to see them in this lightheartedness, this silliness, this comedy that we're able to play around sa script po namin, sa show po namin. So nakakatuwa na nakita rin po ng mga Kapuso po namin 'yung different side of us which is really more like how we really are off-cam. Nakakatuwa po and I hope they will remember the show even after its run. I hope for more mileage for the show, to be seen somewhere else and for more people, more Kapuso to fall in love with each character.

“Testament po sa napakagaling na writers po namin at production. They're really writing it for you. They're really writing the script for you. Parang tailor-made po 'yung script, how the story is going really for the character, for the actor. It's really the product of the production to make us shine.”

Winwyn also shared that they make it a point to reciprocate the love and support they've been receiving.

She said, “Masaya lang kasi at least we know meron talagang engagement with the people who are watching. Pati kami, pag tini-tweet kami, we try to reply. Sa Instagram, talagang nakaabang din kami kung sino magta-tag sa amin. And sabi nga ni Ben sa isang interview namin, we get to watch ourselves also kasi tapos na kami mag-shoot eh. Pati kami inaabangan namin, 'Ano kayang gagawin namin dito? Ito ba 'yung scene na 'to?' We're just happy that people are hooked at naniniwala sila sa characters namin. At least we know we did our job right. So I'm very, very happy.”

Finale week

Owe My Love has reached the final week of its successful run, and the three Kapuso stars are hopeful that their avid viewers will remain hooked until the very end.

Winwyn shared, “Maraming shift na mangyayari pero ito siguro 'yung hindi n'yo ine-expect na mangyayari. Not the usual kontrabida na nakikita n'yo on TV. May story pa rin siya.”

Benjamin also expressed that the finale will give proper development and closure to each of the characters, whether you learned to love them or loathe them.

“Parang lahat po may very well thought-out and very well-written na ending, up to the love story nila, love triangle nina Divina, Dr. Coops and Ma'am Vida. Lahat po well thought-out in the very end. Kung kanino man po kayo na-attach na character or nabwisit or nagalit or naawa, may pupuntahan po up to the very last episode ng show na 'yun so dapat subaybayan po nila 'yun.

Lovi seconded this, saying, “Also with the relationship din of Sensen and Lolo Badong and Doc Migs, that's another thing na dapat abangan kasi iba 'yung nabuo nilang relationship, nilang tatlo. Na parang without Lolo Badong, there would be no Sensen and Doc Migs.”

So are we finally seeing Sensen and Doc Migs' happily-ever-after or will they continue to pull back on their affection for one another?

Benjamin teased, “They have to find out. From week one until week 16, 'yun po talaga ang kailangan subaybayan, 'yung #SenMig. 'Yung ship na po ba ay matutuloy? We'll see until this coming Friday. Kailangan po nilang subaybayan 'yon at I hope we don't let them down. I hope they're happy. Me and Lovi, we can't wait for their reactions.

“Matutuloy na ba 'yung kissing scene nila? 'Yung biglaang kissing scene, meron bang continuation 'yun? Basta. May aamin na ba? Magkakaroon na ba ng label ang relationship nila or kung ano mang meron sila? So tignan natin.”
