Lucas confessed his feelings for Maxine and said he is willing to wait for her until she is ready.
On the November 9 episode of Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation), Maxine (Jennylyn Mercado) stopped to see the Urdan's dreary condition. She saw soldiers helping out fellow soldiers wounded from the disaster. Local children were crying with their mothers then a feeling of extreme sadness washed over her.
Maxine started to have a vision of an otherwise idyllic Urdan before the earthquake. Maxine broke down and Lucas (Dingdong Dantes) enveloped her in a tight embrace. He confessed his feelings for Maxine and said he is willing to wait for her until she is ready.
One night, Lucas surprised Maxine as he serenaded the doctor.
