Chef Luigi Muhlach reflected on the challenges of weight loss and said that his family keeps him going.

Chef Luigi Muhlach caught the attention of people online, who are also going through their own weight loss journey.

The son of seasoned actors Janice de Belen and Aga Muhlach opened up on Instagram about his struggle in keeping fit and admitted that he lost count on how many times he tried to lose weight.

He wrote, “There was a point where I got so big that I lost my confidence. I stopped recognizing the person I saw in the mirror. As a chef, being surrounded by incredible food every day makes this journey even harder.”

He added that he had shed some extra pounds with the help of Tirzepatide, but knows that it will take a lot more discipline to reach his goal.

Based on mayoclinic.org, Tirzepatide injection is also used to help lose weight and keep the weight off in patients with obesity caused by certain conditions.

“Tirzepatide has helped quiet the constant food noise and given me the control I needed to make better choices. But this isn't just about medication. I make sure I eat enough calories, hit my protein goals, train in the gym, stay active through Golf and Muay Thai, and continue building healthier habits. I've traded partying, unhealthy food, and too much alcohol for a lifestyle that serves me better.”

Sharing a much deeper reason for getting fit, Luigi pointed out that he is doing this for his wife Patty and their four kids.

“I've lost a lot of weight already, but I'm nowhere near the finish line. Malayo pa to but I'm doing this for my family, for my health, and for the version of myself I've been trying to become for many years. Maybe almost my whole life.

“The road ahead is still long. It won't be easy. But for the first time in a long time, I know I'm heading in the right direction.”
