Pinoy Big Brother host Luis Manzano stressed the importance of keeping ourselves healthy as he opened up about his recent medical procedures.
The 44-year-old actor explained on his Instagram video that he underwent colonoscopy and gastroscopy.
According to my.clevelandclinic.org, colonoscopy is an examination of the inside of your large intestine (colon). It's helpful for diagnosing gastrointestinal diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer.
Meanwhile, gastroscopy is a test to check inside your throat, food pipe (esophagus) and stomach, known as the upper part of your digestive system.
Luis explained to his followers that these examinations are needed, especially since he wants to get a clearer picture about the state of his health and to avoid cancer.
The husband of Jessy Mendiola noted. He added, “Kapag may nakitang mga polyps tatanggalin na nila right there and then.

He also had a friendly banter with his co-host in PBB, Gabbi Garcia, after she left a comment saying that he is just in his early 20s.
Reacting to the Kapuso actress's post, Luis said, “aAo ka ba, may next teleserye ako, ang role ko fetus”.
