Abigail Marquez, popularly known as 'Lumpia Queen,' and other winners will be celebrated at The 28th Annual Webby Awards on May 13 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Abigail Marquez, popularly known as "Lumpia Queen," has won the Webby People's Voice award in 'Social - Food & Drink' category at the prestigious Webby Awards for its 28th edition.
Winners were announced on Webby's website on Tuesday, April 23.
Abi topped the voting among the five creators vying for the award with the best social media accounts or content focused on food and drink. Meanwhile, Cooks Illustrated of America's Test Kitchen was hailed as the Webby winner for 'Social - Food and Drink' category.
Besides her experimental lumpia recipes, Abi is known for her easy and creative dishes that can be made at home like Tanghulu, fried ice cream, and kimchi fried rice.
The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
Winners for The 28th Annual Webby Awards will be celebrated at a star-studded in-person award show on May 13, hosted by Amber Ruffin, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
