Internet sensation Macoy Dubs revealed that he will take a break from his 'Aunt Julie' skits, after several 'paid trolls' aired their dismay over his character.

In a video posted on Twitter, Macoy explained his decision to take a break but promised that 'Aunt Julie' will be back.

“Hi, inaanak! How are you? Nagmeryenda ka na ba? I hope you're doing well,” he said in the video while slowly removing his pearl earrings and necklace.

“This is Macoy Dubs, but you can call me Aunt Julie, but definitely, they don't want Aunt Julie anymore. They want Macoy Dubs to go back to dubbing.

“So, okay. But hindi ako titigil. I'm just here to create content, 'di ba? Ang dami nang problema ng earth, why do you guys want to cancel good vibes?

“I mean, I don't get you, people.”

As I've said in the Quarantine University, cancel the cancel culture, not the "good vibes" culture. Auntie Julie will be back

In a separate tweet, Macoy thanked his supporters and said that even if Aunt Julie left, Macoy Dubs will stay.

“Thank you for having Aunt Julie in your lives,” he wrote.

“Makes me sad because I just want to create videos for entertainment, but just like the dubs I did before, people will still hate you. Aunt Julie can't please everyone.

“Those who are cancelling Julie are the same people who cancelled Macoy Dubs way back April 2019. How dare you guys.

“You're the reason of my depression and I came back earlier this year but still ganyan.”

After a few hours, Macoy once again thanked his fans and cleared that Aunt Julie will be back.

“Sobrang salamat sa inyong lahat and sa love na in-express ninyo sa akin or kay Auntie Julie,” he tweeted.

“Gusto ko lang rin na malaman ninyo na hindi ako titigil sa paggawa ng content as long as mas marami kayong natutuwa.

“Babalik si Aunt Julie. Rest lang muna siya. At ako rin as Macoy.”
